Gong Xi Fa Cai Mood oredi!

My twin boys have been pestering me to get them a liondance head for them to play and dance with. It's not cheap. A big liondance head cost about RM50, a medium one about RM 40 and a small one like those currently sold at TESCO is going for about RM36. After shopping around...I finally found a good buy at one of the shop in Sitiawa town during our recent vacation there. I got a medium head for only RM30. A yellow one with green stripes.

This is my twin's innovative creation before I bought them the lionhead.

Speaking of CNY mood, the atmosphere at Ipoh Kinta City shopping centre (where Jusco is) was enhanced with the Chinese new year deco and backdrop.
My girls enjoy posing on the stage at the shopping centre lobby. Take a look-

Here's wishing all Malaysians celebrating CNY a very GONG XI FA CAI!

A short stay at Teluk Batik

We were at Teluk Batik last Saturday and Sunday for my department family gathering.
Only the girls followed as the boys were curfewed for not doing doing here school work.

Before the journey the girls were so excited and all ready with their sunglasses and MP4 in the ears

The girls having fun at the beach.

Despite mosquitoes and hot weather, the girls enjoyed their holidays with their parents, uncle and grandparents. We had family picnic and BBQ by the beachside and outside our chalet. We also went to the Lumut town and Sitiawan town for shopping and food.
Had steam fish head and bak kut teh at one small little coffee shop in Sitiawan town.

AT Lumut, we did some shopping ...buying all the dry fishy stuff from the wholesaler called "Anak Kampung".

At least we felt less handful without the twin boys but must admit..did miss them, though!

Gong Xi Fa Cai to all

Planning for holidays anywhere this coming Chinese New Year holidays?
Probably hotels would be fully booked by now.

My family & I are planning to go somewhere cool for holiday this year but locally not overseas due to $$$$ and school has just started.

Cameron Highlands would be our destination. somewhere near..somewhere cool..somewhere not so taxing on the pocket.

we've booked an apartment in Tringkap (others already fully booked) and planned to cook instead of eating out to cut cost. 2 other close immediate families will be joining. The more the warmer and merrier.

Steamboat would be great at night. Besides, the joy of family get together would certainly warm the cool ambience and promote closer bonding as we chat and spend time tgether.

Do come back to check out My holidays in Cameron Highlands after my vacation.

Gong Xi Fa Cai & Happy New Year!
